UK Invasive WeedsJapanese Knotweed

The threat from invasive and noxious species is one of the greatest environmental challenges facing the world we live in today.

tcm (r&d) therefore feels that it is important to offer people detailed information on these weeds, including their history, taxonomy, scope, and control methods.  To support our information on invasive weeds we have also included a comprehensive glossary of scientific terms found on this site, pages of research papers covering many issues surrounding invasive weeds, and a page packed full of links to other useful sources of information.  In keeping with the ethos of this site, we are asking anybody with any information, knowledge of global issues or research papers on any topic surrounding invasive weeds to consider contacting us so that your knowledge can be shared with others through this website.  If you are interested in contributing, please do email us at info@t-c-m.co.uk.

The links to the left of here will direct you to information on these invasive and noxious weeds, which are amongst the most pervasive and difficult to control in the United Kingdom.
